Animales y roles funcionales: convergencias hacia la lingüística histórica y teórica

Los animales fueron domesticados como resultado de una simbiosis a largo plazo entre los seres humanos y las especies disponibles en el lugar o adquiridas mediante el intercambio de recursos. Entre el Neolítico y la Edad de Bronce y de Hierro se produjeron muchos cambios en los valores económicos. En el horizonte de las culturas indoeuropeas, donde el griego zṓon indica el animal en el sentido genérico de «ser vivo», nuestra investigación aborda la clasificación de los animales y su relación con la estructura social. Esta situación está bien documentada en las descripciones de las sociedades «tribales» heroicas transmitidas por la literatura de las zonas indoeuropeas occidentales y orientales, donde la división en clases según un orden jerárquico aparece dentro de una organización básica de clases, en la que los productores de subsistencia eran tanto agricultores como ganaderos. Un segundo punto de nuestra investigación se centra en la interpretación de la importancia del espacio de la razón dentro de las relaciones entre especies, prestando especial atención a las premisas establecidas por la filosofía de la naturaleza griega.
