Abstract

A review of the book "Animal Labour: A New Frontier of Interspecies Justice?" (Oxford University Press, 2020), which brings together several authors who analyse the implications of animal labour from different perspectives. The book is edited by Charlotte E. Blattner, Kendra Coulter and Will Kymlicka. This question has been little discussed in the doctrine, and it raises a legal and social debate that is crucial to the attention given to the work that animals have done and continue to do throughout history.
