Abstract

This review examines philosopher Martha C. Nussbaum’s latest book, Justice for Animals: Our Collective Responsibility (Simon & Schuster 2022). With this work, translated into Spanish by Albino Santos Mosquera and published by Paidós, Editorial Planeta (Barcelona 2023) under the title Justicia para los animales. Una responsabilidad colectiva, the author demands that animals be allowed to flourish and develop in their own way. She calls for action in the face of the risks faced by animals around the world.
